Air conditioning installation in a modern home interior

Air conditioning installation in Surrey and London

We design and install air conditioning for homes and businesses across Surrey, Berkshire and London — single rooms, whole houses, offices, shops, restaurants and server rooms. Every system is sized for the space by a surveyor, fitted by F-Gas registered engineers, and handed over working. This page tells you which of our installation pages is the right one for you.

Which installation page do you need?

If it is your home — a bedroom, a loft conversion, a home office, or the whole house — start with domestic air conditioning installation. We fit wall-mounted, ceiling and ducted systems, and we will tell you plainly which one suits the room.

If it is an office, start with office air conditioning. If it is a shop or showroom, retail air conditioning. If it is a restaurant, café or bar, restaurant air conditioning — kitchens and dining rooms need different treatment and we cover both.

If the building has more than four or five rooms to cool, or several floors, read about VRF air conditioning. One outdoor unit serves many indoor units and each room controls its own temperature.

If it is a server room or comms room, go to server room cooling. It runs all year, it has to fail safe, and it is designed differently.

For any other commercial building, or if you are not sure, commercial air conditioning installation is the place to start. If the building is in London, we have a page for commercial air conditioning in London as well.

What every installation includes

A site survey before we quote, so the system is sized for the room and not guessed from a floor plan. A fixed written quote. Units from Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric or Samsung. Installation by F-Gas registered engineers, with the pipework pressure-tested and the system commissioned and handed over working. A walk-through of the controls before we leave.

Heating as well as cooling

Every system we fit heats in winter as well as cooling in summer. If heating is the main reason you are looking, our heat pumps page explains how an air conditioning system works as an air to air heat pump.

Cost

Prices depend on the number of rooms, the pipe runs and the electrics, so we quote after a survey.

Questions people ask

A single wall-mounted unit in a home is usually fitted in a day. A multi-room system takes longer, and a commercial installation is planned around your opening hours. We give you the time in the quote, and we stick to it.

Most homes do not, because the outdoor unit usually falls within permitted development. Flats, listed buildings and conservation areas are different, and some commercial buildings need consent. We check this at the survey and tell you before you commit.

Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Samsung. We choose the model for the room, not the other way round, and we will explain why we have recommended what we have.

Yes. Every system we install is a heat pump — it moves heat into the room in winter and out of it in summer. Our heat pumps page explains how it works and what it costs to run.
